Sacred Valley. Cusco and the Sacred Valley were the center of the Inca universe, as the Vilcanota river was a sacred river for the Incas, who saw in this course the terrestrial counterpart of the Milky Way and for its excellent climate, Lands Fertile we managed to grow about one hundred varieties of maize. In addition the towns of Ollantaytambo and Pisac were sacred places for the Incas from where they made astronomical observations, offerings and important rituals to the Sun god (Inti) and the Pachamama.

Cusco – Pisac – Ollantaytambo – Maras Moray – Chincheros – Cusco

The trip begins at 7 am in the direction of the Sacred Valley, we will visit different places such as the handmade market of Huaro and some viewpoints, following the tour we will have a panoramic view of the sacred valley of the Incas and the colonial and Inca town of Pisac. Once in Pisac we will take a guided tour of the most important places of this Inca archaeological center. Then we will go to the town of Urubamba where we will have lunch with typical food options.


After lunch we will visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, another sacred place where we will have the opportunity to explore the archaeological center and the streets of this beautiful Inca town and thus have a clear idea of how this military, religious and cultural center was during the Empire Incaico.

Continuing the trip, we will visit two beautiful and interesting places. The first being the salt mines of the community of Maras or salinas of Maras and the agricultural laboratory Inca de Moray. We will have a spectacular view of both places from their respective viewpoints that without a doubt will leave you marveling after having visited these ancestral places.

On the way back to Cusco, we will visit the village of Chincheros, known as “the textile town”, because in this village beautiful and colorful handmade textiles are made. We will have the opportunity to see how they use natural ingredients to dye or color the textiles.
