Pallay punchu del Apu T’acllo. One of the most beautiful and impressive in the andes range. Its beauty is unique, as a rainbow on earth, local people call this place “the rainbow range”. Visiting this place is less demanding than Vinicunca (the seven color mountain). Let visit Palccoyo, its three rainbow mountains and rock Woods with us.
The trip starts picking-you-up from your accommodation at four and half in the moorning .Then we get to Cusipata town, place where we´ll have a delicious breakfast. After meal we continue by car for about three hours to the towns of Langui and Layo. From this part we´ll start the walk, during the journey we´ll enjoy of the landscapes surrounded by llamas and alpacas and many regional communities.
The adventure starts with an imposing view of the rock Woods on the Apu Pallay Punchu, after many recommendations we start the trekking part through the palccoyo oriel, here we have a panoramic 360° view of the Palccoyo range. The climb will be gradual, just about forty five minutes.
After walking for two kilometers, over four thousand m.a.s.l. , we finally get to Palccoyo and his three rainbow mountains. Here we´ll have enough time to enjoy this spectacular place. After this, we have to walk-back to find our transport which will take us back to Cusipata town, where we´ll have lunch, then we´ll go back Cusco.
It´s posible to combine it with “Qéswachaka tour” or The rainbowmountain of palccoyo in a 2 days 1 night tour.
