Chachani Volcano Trek 2 Days

Day 1: Arequipa – Base Camp

At 8:00 in the morning we pick you up from your hotel and after three hours of travel we will reach the starting point of the ascent which is 4,900 meters. From here we begin to walk slowly for two hours, appreciating the flora, fauna and landscape of the place. Arriving at the base camp, which is located at 5,200 meters, we will enlist our camp and have lunch to finally rest and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Day 2: Base Camp – Summit – Base Camp A- requipa

After breakfast at 2:00 in the morning we will start slowly ascending to the top, which is at 6,075 meters. On the seven-hour tour you can see a beautiful sunrise. When we reach the summit, we will have a spectacular view of the city of Arequipa and several volcanoes, including the volcanoes Misti and Ampato. After observing the landscape, rest and take photos, we will begin the return to the base camp that will take us approximately three hours. After lunch and rest we will descend two hours to 4,900 meters, where our car will take us back to the city of Arequipa, arriving approximately 4:00 in the afternoon.
