Cusco – Chincheros – Maras&Moray – Urubamba – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

The trip starts picking-you-up from your hotel at eight in the morning. Then we will go to the town of Chincheros and the archaeological site of Chincheros. This town is famous for its beautiful and colorful textiles, the women of chincheros are the reason why the custom of making textiles was kept alive, currently they still use the same techniques of their Inca ancestors.

We will continue to the Moray archaeological site. During the trip we will be able to enjoy beautiful landscapes in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Moray is a very special and unique place because of its circular platforms. These Inca terraces were used to obtain different varieties of cereals and agricultural products.

The next stop we will visit the Maras’ salt mines. In this interesting and beautiful place we can see how salt is extracted by hand, the whole variety of salt and its different uses. The next stop will be the archeological park site of Ollantaytambo, you will love this small town. In the city of Urubamba, we will stop for lunch time, the meal will be composed by the most important peruvian dishes, an alluring buffet.
