Inca Trail Chinchero to Urquillos Hike. This one-day hike gives us a better idea of the network of roads that our ancestors made. They join valleys, beautiful views with impressive archeological centers and end up at the height of the sacred river: the Vilcanota. This tour is ideal for acclimatization for the Inca Trail.
At 7 in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel. Then we will head towards the town of Chincheros, which is located 30 kilometers northeast of the city of Cusco. We will pass through the archaeological center of Chincheros this archaeological center, was one of the resting places of the famous Inca Pachacutec
After appreciating the interesting platforms of this Inca site, we will start the trek through a beautiful and well preserved original Inca trail, thanks in part to the local people, because even today they continue to use this path to get around and to the Ministry of Culture. Undoubtedly you will enjoy walking along this path that will lead us to the sacred valley of the Incas
After walking 45 minutes or so we will have reached a beautiful waterfall. The Pocpoc cataract. It has a drop of approximately 20 meters, Here we will have a good time to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the place. Almost ending the walk we will stop in the town of Urquillos, where we will have the opportunity to taste the Aqha or Chicha fermented corn. Our trip ends in the city of Cusco at about 4 in the afternoon.
