Cusco – Andahuaylillas – Pikillacta – Tipon – Cusco.
The tour starts picking you up from your hotel at eight in the morning. Then we will go to the town of Andahuaylillas. Here we will visit a beautiful and peculiar Church considered as the Sistine Chapel of America. It has wonderful paintings from the colonial era and golden altars that will get you impressed.
We will continue the journey getting to the archaeological site of Pikillacta, this was a pre-Inca town belonging to the Wari civilization. Currently it is possible to see its narrow streets and some evidence that it was an important ceremonial center. In addition to visiting this interesting place during the trip, we will enjoy the view of the four lagoons that surround the Huacarpay Lagoon.
To end the excursion we will arrive to Tipón, an Inca archaeological center, where we will appreciate a group of hydraulic systems of great magnitude and crucial importance in the ancient ages. because of the high hydraulic technology developed here, the Incas had improved their agricultural processes.. Finally we Will return to Cusco
